The doors to land of dreams have been opened in Summer 1999 in Katowice. After giving us idea by one of our friends, we decided to form a band. Each of us has already had some music experience (less or more successful). We have played in bands like: Ragabash, Graven and The Morrigian, which were still in metal underground scene of Silesia.

In the beginning in band were: Wojtek Wawoczny (voc.), Łukasz Buszman (guit.), Marcin Drozd (bass) and Grzegorz Maciaszek (drums). We were searching for second guitarist and soon Krzysiek Musiał joined the band.

First rehearsals took place in Katowice (Brynów district). At first, beside covers, we played simple "Life" and "Cro-Magnon Man" tracks. Then it rolled easy.

In Autumn 1999 on rehearsal came Wawok's friend from Chorzów- Dominika Jochymska. It was shock! A woman with such a voice easy found a place in our world.

Right from the beginning of the band we had problems with the name. A lot of suggestions, argues, disscusions. Finally we took name: KADATH, which was Dominika's suggestion. It's a name of a city in a land of dreams, taken strictly from H.P. Lovecraft's literature. We played as Kadath for some time, but we weren't the only band which took name Kadath. We didn't want to change our name, but on the other hand we knew that it couldn't be like that any longer. Solution was easier than we thought. We decided to add to "Kadath" a title of our demo. And we became "Kadath the Lost City"

In first months of 2000 we found a place for rehearsals in "Kasyno" in Chorzów. From this time we could work on our material and organize concerts. We've played in many cities of Silesia Region: Chorzów, Gliwice, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Mysłowice and many times in Katowice ("Mega Club", "Za Szybą" et al.). In the meantime (in the end of 2000) Krzysiek was replaced by Darek Zieleziński.

Last months of 2001 we spent on recording our first demo. It was called "The Lost City". There were 13 our tracks and one cover ("Invisible Man" of Queen). One of the lyrics was written by our friend Adam Plasun. Recordings were realized in Grzegorz Wydmuch half- proffesional studio in Katowice-Piotrowice.

And then came holidays 2002. It turned out that we are to loose our place for rehearsals and Wawok want to leave the band. We split with Wawok up in harmony and he is still friend of a band but then it looked a little different. After holidays we decided not to look for anybody to replace him. We stopped searching for new place for rehearsals and we started to play at Bulldog's garage which became our new home.

When Wawok left the band, some of our tracks sounded without him really bad so we stopped playing them. Some other with strong Dominika's voice became sharper and more dynamic.

Recording of our demo and Wawok leaving were ending of some chapters. The new, which we started to write for the time is being short but not finished yet.

In 2003 we worked over new tracks and played some concerts. We couldn't focus only on a band because everyone of us has it's own problems.

In the beginning of 2004 once again we had to change place for rehearsals, because of repair in Bulldog's house. We've found it easily so we can finish arrangements for recording our new demo. We also played on some fests for young bands- the best result we reached in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Platforma 2004), where we got to the final concert. After that event some zine's and radio stations showed us their interest (i.e.: "Bez Kitu" Internet Radio Station, "Extreme Art"- Tattoo Web Magazine, "Eternal Death" zine, "Bulldozer" zine, "Horna" zine and others).

Now our plan is to play more concerts and record new material. We didn't say the last word yet!
